M. Mdhluli – Associate Director
Mamakhe Started her law career at the University of Zululand working at the Legal Aid Clinic as a legal consultant and performing general adminitration duties. After her B Proc & LLB studies at the University, she joined Mnisi Attorneys in 2001 as a candidate attorney. She decided to embrace her experience as a candidate attorney by joining the Law School in 2002. During her attendance at the School she was appointed as a Managing Partner.
MOn completing her training at the Law School she jined Frey & Slabbert Attorneys in Nelspruit as a candidate attorney. in September 2003 Mamakhe was admitted as an Attorney. She then joined MPM as a professional assistant the same year and was later appointed as an associate at the firm. In 2005 she qualified as a Conveyancer and her admission as such was done in April 2006. In November 2007, Mamakhe became one of the Directors of the firm to date. Her experience covers knowledge in Commercial Law, Civil Law, Property Law, Legal Auditing as well as general legal practice. She also manages most of the daily activities of the law firm.
Other than the experience mentioned above, Mamakhe has also been involved in legal and policy sphere in
the public sector learning most of their daily operations and legislations framework that governs them. She
also has managed projects mostly ensuring proper co-ordination of projects between internal and external consultants as well as engaging with clients and legal advisory in
the different spheres involving the legal profession. She has experience in public service, particularly in risk advisory services and change management processes of the public sector. She also served as a member of the disciplinary committee for the Estate Agent Affairs Board. Ms Mdhluli in her positions has acquired extensive experience thereof, with good combination of operational and strategic skills, as well as a good
grasp of diversity and teamwork.
Mamakhe is an associate director of MT Silinda Attorneys.
